Our Core Product with Proven Origin
At Safetis Fruits, the kiwi is our flagship product – available almost year-round. We specialize in Hayward kiwis grown on our own family fields near Mount Olympus (Pieria region), complemented by certified partner farms in Pieria, Kavala and Arta – among the top kiwi-producing regions in Greece.
Our orchards are part of a GlobalG.A.P.-certified growers’ group. From cultivation to harvest and final packaging, every step is monitored to ensure top-tier quality in taste, firmness and shelf life.
Storage takes place in modern cooling facilities in Northern Greece. For packing and logistics, we work exclusively with professional partners that operate under internationally recognized quality and food safety standards (e.g. BRC, IFS, ISO22000, ). Transport is handled via temperature-controlled distribution – tailored to the needs of our B2B clients across Europe
Continuous monitoring of kiwi orchards, oversight of harvesting by agricultural experts, and determination of the right stage of ripeness for the desired values of sugars and dry matter ensure the high quality of the fruit.

Our kiwis are harvested between October and May. Agronomists oversee ripening stages, ensuring optimal sugar and dry matter levels. Full traceability is guaranteed from field to final destination.
To accelerate ripening, place them in a paper bag with an apple or banana for one to two days.
